Oil pastel drawing using shoe polish to fix the medium and prevent smudging. The oil pastel drawing is on Rag paper. The rag paper, which I brought with me when I imigrated from Zimbabwe, now over 26 years ago. The paper can’t be ‘sized’ and is therefore not suitable for water-based paint. Want to know more?
