Hello!
It’s wonderful to see you here
Do you want to know a bit more about me before
heading on in to look at my paintings?
I give mixed media a whole new meaning, challenging your creativity. I offer demonstrations to art societies in my locality. Further afield, I offer demonstration on Zoom. Jazz bands on Banana leaf paper using boot polish with oil pastels; wildlife in watercolour mixed media; sprinkling a bit of coffee or gin or how about drawings of Zebra with inks
Originally from Zimbabwe, and a wealth of wildlife sketches, here are examples of my paintings many of which were done Plein air. Zebra, Giraffe, Guinea fowl and many other wildlife species.
In 2001, as a family, we moved to the UK. My husband from British decent and a historian introduced me to London, incredible iconic old building entwined with new builds, Skylines full of huge cranes, streets full of people- red buses, black taxis, and bicycles. New sketches. New topics, to add to my portfolio of paintings examples of which can be found here. All my painting are for sale and I also take orders for commissions.
Jazz band, oil pastels, and shoe polish on banana paper. The paper was made in Zimbabwe over 20 years ago. I brought the paper with me when we immigrated to the UK.

What inspires art? Is there a meaning behind the paintings I create? Well it is wonderful that someone else may see something in the painting that was not anticipated when painted!
