Bouquet

I painted a watercolour of a bouquet given to me by mature students I taught during a 14-week course. It’s on my website — please take a look. The bouquet was arranged by a student who runs a small florist business. I painted it partly to help promote her shop and partly because the flowers were beautiful.

Teaching the class was a joy. I taught drawing (pencil and crayon), then watercolours, and finally acrylics, which were new to many of us. We had a lot of fun and produced excellent work. I shared a video of the students’ pieces on my Facebook page, and I’m very proud of what they achieved.
